About Me

My name is Kristen Roberts, and I am currently a senior journalism major at the University of Kentucky, expecting to graduate this May 2025. This semester I am Managing and Assistant Lifestyle Editor for the independent, student-run magazine, KRNL Lifestyle + Fashion.

Previously, I was Features Editor for the Kentucky Kernel, UK's independent newspaper. I was also an editorial intern at The Lane Report in Lexington, Kentucky, and the Mt. Sterling Advocate in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky.

I enjoy writing feature/ lifestyle stories, but have published opinion, news, photo and video packages.
